Create sessions on Eventmaker

Sessions in Eventmaker correspond to the main segments of your event: conferences, workshops, webinars, demonstrations, etc. They are essential for structuring the overall program of your event.

Create a session

You have two options:

  1. Add manually via the + Add a session button

  2. Import sessions via Other actions > Import a list of sessions

When creating manually, you must provide the following information:

  • Session name (required)

  • Session type

  • Date, start time and duration (recommended for web display)

  • Room (useful to indicate whether the session is physical or virtual)

  • Speakers (speakers added from the participants list)

⚠️ A speaker must have the status Registered in your database to be added.

Once configuration is complete, click on Save.

These sessions can later be made visible on your website using building a program.
