Create an In-person Live session in Eventmaker
It does not involve any digital video stream and does not offer online replay. However, this format allows enabling live interactivity tools to engage participants present on-site.

No digital broadcast on the virtual platform
Local interactivity: chat, polls, votes
Participants on-site only (No limits)
Maximum duration: 24h

Opening speech or plenary
In-room workshops
Partner presentations
Panel discussions with in-room participation
etc.
➕ Add an in-person session
Go to the Program tab from the event back-office.
Click + Add a session, fill in:
3. Fill in the essential fields:
Session name & Session type
Date, start time, duration, and your speakers
Room (Optional)
4. In the Live type field, select In-person.

Notifications and interactions
Send a message to participants 5 minutes before the start of the live session
Allow speakers to launch polls during the session → Results can then be projected in the room
Footer banner (displayed locally)
Upload a banner (recommended size: 728 x 90 px)
Add a link associated with the banner if needed
Enable chat
Enable chat to allow real-time exchange between participants
Chat moderation :
No moderation
Active moderation (approval before publication)
Passive moderation (ability to delete after publication)
Enable message selection: Allows creating a list of selected questions to address live via a dedicated tab
⚠️ Information about on-site participant access is only visible if the polling option is enabled.
📲 Interactivity for on-site participants
You can associate an interactive module to the session (accessible via QR code or personal link) allowing to:

📱 Once scanned, the QR code redirects the participant to the live page linked to the session
Save your changes
Once the session is configured (title, schedule, speakers, type...), click Save. It will then appear in your session list.

Prepare interactive content in advance (polls, questions, etc.)
Anticipate technical needs in the room (Wi-Fi, projection)
Display QR codes in the room (visual supports, slides)
