In Eventmaker, scheduling conflict detection is an essential feature to ensure smooth scheduling and prevent planning errors.
When does scheduling conflict detection work?
Registration conflict: a participant or a speaker registers for two sessions that overlap.
How does scheduling conflict detection work?
Inactive: Your participants can register for the sessions they want without any restriction from your event.
Informative detection: participants or speakers are notified, via a notification to the right of the session registration button, that they are registering for sessions occurring at the same time.
Restrictive detection: participants (or speakers) are blocked when they attempt to register for two sessions occurring at the same time.
How do I enable scheduling conflict detection?
Scheduling conflict detection is activated in the advanced options of the Event tab (in the three dots at the right of your interface).
Scheduling conflict detection applies to your schedule based on your sessions.
Best practices:
Use the personal calendar to quickly spot overlaps.
Set up exclusive session groups to prevent multiple registrations for simultaneous time slots using accreditations in the registration form.
