Introduction
To improve the clarity of your communications, Eventmaker offers an “Order summary” block to integrate directly into your emails. It allows each participant to find the key elements of their registration: sessions, products, accompanying persons, and tickets.
This block can also be used in other contexts, such as on a confirmation page or a personal area, but we will focus here on its use in emails.
What does the “Order summary” block contain?
Displayed content depends on the participant's journey. The block is generated dynamically and may include:
Displayed item | Usage example |
Accreditations | Access the participant has to the event |
Products | Reserved products (services, options, equipment…) |
Programs | Summary of sessions the participant will attend |
Accommodations | List of rooms reserved by the participant |
Accompanying persons/tickets | Summary of accompanying persons' registrations, in addition to access to their badge/ticket for the Primary participant. |
Order cart | Details of the paid items in the order. |
Add an order summary to an email
Go to the Email Builder (from the Emails tab).
Click on New section.
Select Order summary from the list of section types.
Place the section where you want it in the email.
Customizations available :
Choose whether to display certain rows (e.g.: products, tickets).

Adjust display rules (if segmented, or for a certain participant type).
⚠️ The rendering of the summary depends directly on the items actually selected by the participant.
