Why are these emails important?
Registration is often the first interaction between your event and your participants. By personalizing transactional emails, you provide a reassuring and clear journey, while optimizing your internal processes.
Eventmaker lets you precisely manage which messages are sent, when, to whom, and in which context (moderation enabled or not).
Confirmation email
This block is sent automatically after a registration, if you have activated it, and if there is no moderation on your category. You can configure its content:
From the category > Confirmation email
Or directly from the Emails tab
Remember to insert a link to the badge or to the personal space with a button.
Moderation
Enable moderation if you want to manually approve registrations or even use automations that will do it for you.
To enable it :
Go to the Registrations tab
Select a category
Add the Moderation block
Configure its options
⚠️ If enabled by mistake, you can remove it by unchecking the block's main option.
Moderation email
To notify a pending participant, enable the moderation email feature :
Enable it in the event features
Access the Moderation Email block from the category
Customize the email content as needed.
If validated, participants will receive a confirmation email.
If refused, you may contact them individually to explain why, or simply decline them.
⚠️ Important rule to remember
Without moderation : the confirmation email is sent automatically after registration.
With moderation : the confirmation email is only sent after manual approval.
You can stop these emails by opening the burger menu at the bottom right of the feature and selecting Disable.
Referral email
Your participants can also refer other registrants.
To customize the referral email :
Create a Referral email using the mail builder and the referral section,
Click the add features button,
Select the Referral Email template you prepared,
Add the referral section to your website so that your participants are active!
