What is a Wallet Pass?

The Wallet Pass is a digital version of the event badge, optimized to be stored on attendees' phones. It works offline and allows easy access to essential information: name, company, QR code, logistical information, or any other useful data.

Eventmaker now offers a full integration, allowing you to add this option for your attendees in just a few clicks.

Enable the Wallet Pass feature

  1. Enable the feature in the feature set :

    • Go to Event settings > Features > Onsite Group.

    • Enable the Wallet Pass feature.

  2. Associate the feature with a registration category :

    • Go to Registrations > Categories.

    • Open the desired category.

    • Enable Wallet Pass for this category.

⚠️ Only people who belong to a category with Wallet Pass enabled will be able to download their badge to their phone.

Customize the Wallet Pass

Once enabled, you will access a simple configuration form that allows you to:

  • Choose an icon and a background image,

  • Define a color palette,

  • Customize up to 8 fields of data displayed on the pass,

  • Preview the final result in real-time preview.

💡 You can click on the preview to switch between an iOS and an Android version.

Display in emails and on the website

Once the Wallet Pass is enabled and configured :

On the website :

  • A new "Wallet Pass" section is available in the builder.

  • The Add Apple / Google buttons appear only for logged-in guests who belong to a compatible category.

In emails :

  • A dedicated section allows automatic insertion of links to the Apple / Google Wallet passes.

  • Buttons are shown only if the recipient's category has Wallet Pass.

Best practices

  • Enable only for categories that need it (avoid duplicates with standard emails).

  • Use short, clear texts in the custom fields.

  • Test your passes with real participants as soon as they are set up.

  • Customize your passes with icons consistent with your event.

In summary

With Wallet Passes, your participants:

  • Always have their badge at hand,

  • Can use it even without a connection,

  • Save time and improve flow at event entry.

And you provide a modern and professional experience, directly integrated into Eventmaker.
