Test a participant's experience from their profile

In Eventmaker, it is possible to simulate a participant's journey directly from their profile card in the back office.
These tests allow you to verify that the configured experience and content (emails, confirmation pages, on-site access) work as intended before the event.

1. Test email sending and content

From a participant's profile, you can simulate sending an email to the participant by clicking the Send an email button. You can then select the template you want to test and preview it as if it had been sent to the participant you are testing.

  • Purpose :

    • Check personalized content (dynamic fields, name, QR code…).

    • Confirm correct formatting (layout, clickable links, images).

    • Verify the functionality of the different buttons.

  • Note : if the email contains dynamic variables, they will be displayed based on the actual data of the selected participant.

2. Preview the confirmation page

Also from the profile, you can open the confirmation page associated with the participant.

  • Purpose :

    • Verify the confirmation message and its visuals.

    • Check the display of participant-specific information (e.g. category, specific access).

    • Test the behavior of links or buttons on the page.

3. Test access in the app

Keeptrack manages access rights for the different checkpoints.

  • From a participant's profile :

    • Verify that the configured accesses correspond to the assigned category or options.

    • Simulate a check to see if the participant is allowed or denied access to a given area.

  • Example : a "VIP" participant should see the list of exhibitors and speakers whereas a regular participant does not have access.

4. Test badge scanning

You can also verify that the participant's badge is functional and readable by Eventmaker's scanning applications.

  • Purpose :

    • Confirm that the QR code works with the correct access rights.

    • Anticipate potential reading issues (size, contrast, format).

In summary

These tests allow you to quickly detect and correct any inconsistencies before the event.
By using a participant's profile as a starting point, you simulate their complete experience :

  • 📧 Emails

  • ✅ Confirmation pages

  • 🎟️ Keeptrack access

  • 📲 Badge scan

This ensures that, on the day of the event, the journey will be smooth and without unpleasant surprises.
