VIP Notifications

VIP notifications allow an organizer to be informed that the VIP attendee has arrived at the event when they are scanned or checked in.

SMS and email notifications must first be enabled for a category, then for the participant in that category to receive the SMS or email notification.

Enable the feature for a guest category

  1. Go to the Registrations tab and select one of your categories.

  2. Click the Other actions button at the top right. A dropdown menu will open: click on SMS and Email Notifications.

Check the box VIP checkin notification email enabled to receive, by email, information that the VIP attendee has arrived at the event when their badge is scanned or when checked in on the iPad. In the Send emails to field, enter the email addresses separated by commas to which you want to send the notification.

If you wish to receive the information by SMS, check the box VIP checkin notification SMS enabled. Enter the phone numbers to which you want to send the notification in the Send SMS to field, separating them with a comma.

You must then save your changes.

Enable VIP notifications for the relevant participants

  1. Click the Participant list tab to display the list.

  2. Click the edit icon next to the name of the participant for whom you want to enable notifications.

  3. Check the VIP Notification box and submit the form
