Why use website import/export?

  • Avoid starting from scratch for each new event.

  • Use templates to standardize your events.

  • Try a draft version before importing into the final event.

Importing a website into your event:

Click Settings then Import the website from another event. Choose which event you want to import the website from. Delete the website from your current event and continue. The website will be updated automatically.

Exporting a website to another event:

Export allows you to retrieve the structure of your event website. Go to the Website tab (which must be enabled in Features at the top right of your event, then go to the three dots in the top right and click Website). To export your website to another event, go to Settings in the top right. Search for and choose the event to which you want to export your website.

Common use cases:

  • Reusing the site of an annual event: only the program changes, the site remains the same.

  • Adapting a template for local subsidiaries: each team gets a common base to customize.

  • Updating a multilingual site: export a French version, import an English version.

Website import and export on Eventmaker are a strategic lever to simplify the creation of your events. In a few clicks, you can deploy a professional, coherent site that follows the necessary guidelines for your event.
