Inviting your collaborators on Eventmaker allows your team to access the platform and manage your event together.
⚠️ The more collaborators on an event, the more you will lose control over changes made to your event's back-office settings.
Eventmaker allows managing collaborators' access and rights. Each invited person can be assigned specific permissions according to their responsibilities (organization, communications, exhibitor management…) This ensures data security while facilitating collaboration.
How to invite a collaborator?
⚠️ You must be an administrator to invite a collaborator.
When you are on your event, click at the top right of your interface on your profile icon, then on manage account users. Click on + Add a member and enter their email, last name, first name, choose the language and the role the collaborator will have on the platform. Finally choose which event this collaborator will have access to. An invitation will be sent to their email; they will need to click "Accept the invitation" and choose their password, which will allow them to access the platform.
Choose and add a role:
When inviting a collaborator, you must choose their role on the platform. The different pre-registered roles on the platform are:
Administrator: Has all rights on the account.
Event administrator: has all rights on the events they have access to, but cannot manage the account.
Operator: Can only access the list of participants and add via the public form.
Statistics: can only access data in read-only mode (no modifications).
You can also add a role by clicking on "+Add a role" in the Roles tab. You can give it a Name, a description (to know which function this role corresponds to), and choose what this role will be able to modify or not in your event's back-office. Finally, confirm your action.
You have the option to modify the accesses you wish to give to your collaborators by changing the status in the menu.
Rights management and security:
Ensure you assign only the rights necessary to each collaborator to limit risks.
In case of departure or change, you can modify or revoke access at any time.
