RSVP (short for Répondez S'il Vous Plaît) is a highly effective way to register your participants for an event for which you have already targeted the audience. The recipient of your communication can then choose to answer Yes or No to the invitation.

More commonly, the options used are:

  • I will attend / I will not attend

  • I participate / I do not participate

⚠️ This option is recommended if your participants have less "secure" email accounts. Otherwise, you expose yourself to the risk of a bot clicking the buttons to check.

Prerequisites

You must have your participants' list since the goal will be to contact them, ideally with their information already prefilled.

You have two ways to allow them to respond.

Responding directly from the email

Your guest can respond directly from the email received. This ensures a much better response rate, as they will be far more inclined to reply immediately.

Add the button to your website

Your guest can also click a Respond to the invitation button in their email and access your website, on a session automatically logged in, to submit their choice.

Prefilling data and automatic form submission

In both cases, the result is the same and your participant will register or not. You can prefill the information in their form (following your participants import) if you have a sufficiently enriched database.

You can even go further by automatically submitting their response form without displaying it, making the response process from an email truly "one-click"!

Participant status

Depending on their response, participants will have the status Registered or Declined.
