⚠️ Don't forget to click Save at the bottom of the page.
Step 2: Add messaging to your site
Go to Website > Pages, open the page of your choice or create a new one.
Add a Direct Messages section.
Optional :
Check Enable matchmaking to suggest profiles to contact based on their thematic score.
Enable the Show contact request button option if you want to enrich profiles.
Enable and use video calls
Once messaging is enabled, you can allow your participants to meet via spontaneous 1-to-1 video conferences from within a messaging conversation.
⚠️ For video calls to work, the feature Video chat of the Networking module must be enabled in your event's features.
User interface
From the Direct Messages section, participants will find:
the list of their contacts allowed according to the defined rules,
a search field to quickly find a profile,
the call options,
the profile suggestions at the bottom of the list (if matchmaking is enabled).

Best practices
Clearly define the rules for contact to avoid surprises for participants.
Add this feature to your post-registration site to encourage interaction ahead of the event.
