In addition to the fixed delay after the trigger explained in the introduction, there are two options for more precise automation tailored to your events.
The three available wait modes
1. Reminder: Wait a fixed duration
You specify a duration (e.g.: 2 hours, 1 day) after which the flow will resume.
🔧 Example: A follow-up email is sent 3 hours after registration for a session.
2. 📅 Wait until a specific date (new)
You choose an exact date and time. All automation flows using this step will resume at that moment.
🔧 Example: Schedule sending a reminder the day before an event at 10:00 AM.
3. 📆 Wait until a date relative to the event (new)
You define a duration before or after a key date of your event (such as the start or end date).
🔧 Example: Automatically follow up with a visitor 2 hours after the event ends.
🛠 For this option, you must configure :
A duration (e.g.: 2),
A time unit (minutes, hours, or days),
A direction: before or after.
A time reference (Event Start or End),
⚠️ To avoid server overload, flows do not all resume at the exact defined time, but within a 5-minute window around the chosen time. For example, if you set execution for 1:30 PM, it will occur between 1:25 PM and 1:35 PM.
